“Data analysis is crucial for the success of digitalization and is required to support data mining and machine learning.”

Digitalization opens the flood gates for data collection (mining) and analytics that are used to manage and control. In addition, data is fed like blood into artificial intelligence including machine, robotics, drone, and autonomous self-driving programs.

Since 2016 as an example the province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Government of Canada have been in collaboration on enabling and accelerating digitalization.

In 2022, the Newfoundland and Labrador, Government of Canada, and IBM Canada contributed $18 million towards emerging technologies related to digitalization: artificial intelligence, data mining, data and genetic science… at Memorial University.

On January 3, 2023, Newfoundland and Labrador released digital version of government ID (digital ID). In incremental steps the ID is initially voluntary.

The government ID includes a digital card with application on mobile terminals (devices). The ID provides user identification and history of complete data on that user.

A Minister of Digital Government and Service oversees the digitalization.

When digital currency is released and cash made obsolete, the data collection will be complete.

People need to realize the bigger technocratic agenda at work.
